I am from stuffed bunny rabbit
From yoyo
And hide and seek outside Ingamo
I am from the land of lots of trees
Bright, dark at night in the winter time
And looks like all sorts of different colors
I am from the monkey
They can jump far on trees and eat banana’s
I am from drum dancing
And looks like me
From Lena
And John
I’m from playing bingo
And geese hunting
From clean up
And stay in school
I’m from funny
And Santa Clause
From Caribou meat and dry fish
From when we were all in the bush and my Nanuk coughed and her dentures fell out of her mouth and we all laughed
From my daduk Benjamin likes singing
I am from pictures of my nanuk on the wall to think of her now that she is passed.

I am from barbie’s
From stuffed bunny
And playing tag
I am from the filthy
Small, morning sunrise
And smells like a big load of garbage
I am from the rose bush
They smell good
I’m from on the land
And happy and cheerful
From Hank Rogers
And Sarah Rogers
I’m from Muskrat hunt
And shopping sprees
From Be good
And your beautiful
I’m from monsters under my bed
And I don’t know
From Pizza and carrots
From the time when we were all around the fire place and Uncle Robert came out with a sheet over his body and he scared us all. Everybody left me outside and I was frieghtened.
From my daduk Hank is a very good trapper.
I am from a photo album that brings good memories

I am from my teddy bear Ruby,
from fake cell phones
and hide and seek.
I am from snowy roads.
Sparkly, bright, and smells like cold.
I am from thorny willows.
Pokey and hurtful.
I’m from cooking our favorite hamburger soup
and shyness.
From Rhoda Allen & Agnes Allen.
I’m from wrestling and playing with my dog.
and my sisters hand-me-downs.
From always say your manners
and don’t stop your art.
I’m from the tooth fairy
and a tooth for two dollars.
From eskimo donuts and caribou meat.
From the time my sister Ashlyn joked my sister and I
that we were adopted, and our real names
were Beatrice and Bertha.
And the way my mom’s mom’s mom held me.
I am from the bush camp.
Pictures all over the walls of my family.
I have not seen them for a long time.
